Transcendants are not monsters. They are not beasts to be hunted by a hero. They are gods.
Those who do not respect the divine might of Transcendants face a singular destiny: oblivion.

The Unseen
Location: Ubrelia
Some secrets are better left unseen, for glimpsing a truth that wishes to remain forgotten requires a steep price to be paid.
The Unseen is the name given to those of Ubrelia who have become lost to the endless dark, their names buried by the passage of time, leaving only a faint scar of their existence in the annals of history. Those who seek the truth of The Unseen, who are determined to resurface and retell the tragedy of their lives, may find themselves facing more than they bargained for. There is no peace to be found with The Unseen. Only madness.

Silence
Location: Gaek Peaks
There is a legend told in hushed tones, passed quietly between monks of the Gaek Peak monasteries.
It is an ancient story of a great tribe of hunters who once sought to conquer the heavens. They were unrivaled in their weaving; ambitious and powerful like none other.
But when those hunters brandished their weapons and pointed them toward the sun, toward the immutable light of the heavens, they were shown the price of their arrogance.
What descended from the sky that day, was Silence.
And man never dared challenge the heavens ever again.

The Firebird
Location: Aleksaria
To find a Transcendant within the Wall of Aleksaria is unheard of. Yet, amongst the scholars and researchers of the capital city of Aleksanne, there is one known to have existed.
The Firebird.
A massive avian creature that radiates plumes of heavenly light, the Firebird is largely known to be the cause of the Velandt Incident, wherein one of the largest trading cities in Aleksaria was razed to ashes overnight.
Though this event is notably omitted from the historical records of Aleksaria and the creature's very existence is publicly denied by the Throne, personal accounts of the Velandt Incident, in addition to the scorched ruins of the once prosperous town, provide more than enough evidence to substantiate the Transcendant's legacy upon Aleksaria.
Where this creature appeared from and where it vanished to after, however, is a secret only known to those closest to the Incident.
-
Marionette
Location: The Black Forest
Beneath the Black Forest are mysteries and horrors unimaginable. Forgotten by the world above, life beneath the forest subsides on the flesh and essence of those who fall through the cracks, damned to a fate worse than death.
Amongst the residents of the hollow chambers below is a creature with skin like stone, covered in the mystical glow of parasitic solarite.
Unlike many Transcendants, this creature moves with what appears to be intelligent deliberation, performing profane rituals unknowable to humans of the surface world.
For what which is learned in a forbidden land is best understood by none.
-
Father
Location: Entropy
Among the great cities of Entropy is the floating landmass of Inversion, a place where technology and economic trade prosper.
However, many of the older residents of Inversion protect a secret that may threaten the entire nation. A dark, guarded history of the city's prosperity, and the horrific sacrifices made in the name of progress.
It's said that every cycle of the moon, the Council of Inversion will convene to offer prayers and sacrifices to Father.
Though... nobody outside the Council knows who or what "Father" could possibly refer to.
-
The Watcher
Location: Zulen Mines
Within the depths of the Zulen Mines, connecting Naru to the Black Forest, is a massive, empty chamber.
Within this dark and vacuous space is the domain of The Watcher, a Transcendant whose sweeping gaze bathes the chamber in an otherwordly light.
No hunter has ever dared to gaze directly upon The Watcher, or at the minimum, any hunter who has gazed its form has never returned to tell the tale. In any case, every weaver with even a shred of hunter's sense can tell immediately that to see The Watcher, to know its true form, is to submit yourself to tread down a forbidden path to madness.
-
The Judge
Location: The Behemoth Plains
Sealed off from the rest of Isarine, The Judge presides over the lost land of The Behemoth Plains.
The indomitable arbiter of would-be-heroes, The Judge is both feared and respected by every tribe in the land, and is the executor of the final trial in the Rite of Ascension.
Though nobody knows how The Judge came to inherit this role, or how it came to be, not a single resident of The Behemoth Plains dares to challenge its authority.
-
Fractal
Location: Bel
Upon the holy mountain of Bel sits a great guardian drake.
Unlike most dragons of Isarine, this creature has transcended its reptilian form, its body radiating with the holy essence of Pearl rather than the elemental energies of nature.
Extremely aggressive and capable of manipulating and transmuting every hue of essence, Fractal is an unconquerable foe, and any that should dare face it in combat are destined to perish.
Fractal is a creature seen only by The Chosen Hero of Pearl, or in rare cases, by a hunter arrogant enough to tread upon the Holy Land without the permission of its master. In the latter case, Fractal is only spotted briefly, oftentimes as a blur of radiant light, as the last thing the hunter will ever see.

Gigas
Location: ???
Great metal spires once covered the land now known as the Crippling Sands. An entire civilization once rose and fell in the heart of Isarine, their prosperity and wealth all but forgotten to a single, great Catastrophe.
But those who do not know the past are fated to repeat it. Those who follow in the footsteps of the fallen are damned to arrive at the same destination.
What kind of Catastrophe could've turned an entire nation to sand and dust?
-
And more...
This is by no means a comprehensive list of the Transcendants that inhabit the hostile world of Isarine. Transcendants take many forms, grand and miniscule. They are not all aggressive or violent, though they have all survived the test of time, and one must wonder how.
For even when the skies and seas are bathed in shadow, when feral beasts threaten every inch of the land, life will invariably find a way.
Life will Transcend its shackles.
